The Social Agency (TSA) is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our team on a part time basis. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about social media and loves writing creative, engaging content + managing social media accounts.
The Nitty Gritty
This position is funded in part by the Canada Summer Jobs program which means that the successful applicant must be under the age of 30. The position will be 15-20 hours per week, with a compensation of $20/hour. The position will run for 17-23 weeks, depending on the number of hours allocated per week. The position will begin on or around June 7th. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible as this position may grow into a longer term position with TSA.

Our Ideal Account Coordinator
The following skills and experience are desired for this position:

Strong writing skills.

You have a love of social media and are a pro at creating engaging posts, Stories, etc.

You are excited to further your experience managing social media accounts for multiple brands. Attention to detail and impeccable grammar is a MUST.

You have the ability to understand unique audiences and develop content for a variety of brands across all the main social channels.

Experience setting up social ad campaigns and working with Facebook Ads Manager.

You know how to track KPIs. You have experience pulling data from platforms like Hootsuite and Google Analytics.

Design skills: You have the ability to create compelling social assets such as infographics, branded images and videos.

PR experience would be a bonus but is not required for this position. This role may include:

Developing PR campaign strategies for a variety of brands, including pitching media and lining up interviews;

Working with social media influencers;

Writing media releases and backgrounders for a variety of brands;

Using release distribution tools for tracking and sourcing appropriate contacts.
