We’re hiring!

The Social Agency is seeking an Account Manager to join our time on a part time basis. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about social media and loves writing creative, engaging content + managing social media accounts.

The Nitty Gritty

This contract position will start at 15-20 hours per week, with a compensation of $25/hour. We will begin with a three-month trial period, after which we would ideally renew this contract on an annual basis. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible as this position may grow to 30+ hours per week.

The Social Agency is a boutique-marketing agency located in Port Moody. Founded ten years ago, our passion is to help organizations find the most compelling, meaningful and effective ways to share their stories and engage with their audiences. We specialize in PR, social media marketing and developing integrated marketing campaigns. 

We are proud of our exemplary success record managing social media and PR for a broad and diverse client base.

We offer a flexible work environment, including the ability to work from home most days. Our office is also conveniently located next to a Skytrain station. Free parking is also available as needed.

Our ideal Account Coordination/Content Creator:

The following skills and experience are desired for this position:

  • Developing content for for a variety of brands across all the social channels. You are a pro at creating posts, Stories, dynamic graphics.

  • Managing social media accounts for multiple brands. Attention to detail and impeccable grammar is a MUST.

  • Setting up social ad campaigns (using Carousel, Canvas, Pixels, etc.) and working with Facebook Ads Manager.

  • Working with social media influencers to develop far-reaching social campaigns.

  • Creating KPI reports. Experience pulling data from platforms like Meltwater, Hootsuite and Google Analytics.

  • Ability to create social media graphics such as infographics, branded images and templated videos.

  • PR experience (and established contacts!) would be a bonus but is not required for this position. Do you happen to have these skills as well?

    • Developing PR campaign strategies for a variety of brands, including pitching media and lining up interviews.

    • Writing media releases and advisories for a variety of brands.

    • Using release distribution tools for tracking and developing appropriate contact.
