Since 2010, TSA has managed and grown the Better Together BC community. Our primary task? To grow an authentic online community to inspire families in BC to cook and eat together often.
We’ve established an authentic community forum for Better Together, collaborating with and featuring high-profile influencers and experts on the Better Together blog and social channels and focusing on messaging that offers tips and resources families actually want and use. For 10 years, we ran an annual BC-wide video contest that garnered intergenerational participation across the province, partnering with Global TV, and notable food influencers each year.
Our annual PR campaign covered all the bases. We attracted a media partner (Global TV), and lined up earned media coverage in communities across the province, working with well-known BC spokespeople and influencers to help us get the word out. Every year, the campaign was covered in BC’s top news outlets including The Vancouver Sun, the Georgia Straight, and Global TV along with community papers across the province. Over the years, we’ve reached hundreds of thousands of families with this important message: family meals matter for both kids and adults.
