Simple Ways To Up Your Workplace Wellness
As summer weather approaches, and sitting at a desk all day feels more torturous than ever, we find ourselves obsessing over weekend plans and wellness blogs a little more than usual. Here are a few of the most useful tips we’ve discovered for feeling energized at work when (let’s be honest!) we’d rather be outside.
- Surround yourself with people who inspire you. Or, if you work alone, pin up some inspiring quotes. Like this one.
- Get some great headphones and listen to music while you work (a little Lemonade, anyone?).
- Take 'effective' breaks.
- Drink fruit-infused water all day – it’s a continuous pick-me-up. Strawberry, Lemon, and Basil water is a fave.
- Police your negative thoughts. Oprah (of course!) has some tips on how to stay positive.
